The Goddess of the Waves was a deity of modest powers, and an even more modest range of influence. She helped fishermen and sailors to find their way home, even through the thickest fog, through the fiercest storms. Now she is dead. There are no stories left to tell about her Queen Stephania was a fierce woman, an unhappy woman. She rose higher than people thought she could. But her triumph had a bitter aftertaste, as it left her ruling over those she despised. Now she is dead. There are no stories left to tell about her. Queen Caramela was raised by a fierce, unhappy woman, and lived under the influence of a deity of modest powers. All she wants is to keep harmful things at a distance, to live for beauty and fun, for things to continue as they are. She won't get her wish. She lives. This is her story. This game has eight endings.

Can love bloom on the debate stage? You are Mori America, a Japanese transfer student entering Grand Old Academy, a prestigious private high school in the United States. You arrive just in time to watch the first round of the debate club championship, the most anticipated and important event of the school year. As you start to befriend seven of the debaters, you realize that there may be more to them than what they show on the stage… and that they’re all eligible bachelors. As the field of competitors narrows, the tension rises and conflicts begin to boil over. Loyalties will be tested, friendships shattered, and alliances dissolved. But throughout the chaos, one thing remains steadfast as a constant beacon of hope: teen romance. Grand Old Academy is a Japanese-style visual novel/dating sim inspired by contemporary American politics. Its tone is satirical, but lighthearted: it is a story about romance, friendship, and competition, not actual political issues. The only major difference from other dating sims is that all of the actors in this story happen to be politicians. Think “Hatoful Boyfriend,” but instead of pigeons, it’s Republicans.

A link-based browser "RPG" (more of a text novel), created in 2010. You are an adventurer in search of buried treasure. In your quest, there is the usual crazy old lady that advises you and the treasure hoarding dragon who'd like to eat you up. This was made when SoA didn't even exist and the programmer (me) had no knowledge of programming (hence the link-based gameplay). It is still under development, even after all those long years. A few links don't work, but don't worry- you'll still get a full ten minutes of "click-maze" gameplay. Find this game at http://skiesofamber.vnovel.com/mazesite01

It is a novel about two young transfer students with a troubled but hopefully interesting past, trying to turn a new leaf in their lives. I prefer visual novels with lot's of choices, so there will be routes. The first branching will happen when you will pick with which main character you want to play, the guy or the gal. However after that I hope to have a computer club route, a library route, a HEMA fencing route(pretty unique if you ask me), a form your own club route and a hidden mystery route. Burn the bridges:chapter 1 is a visual novel...my first one kind of complete. Personally my favourites so far are the fencing and mystery routes, so that is why so far those are the most fleshed out ones in my head. Most of the choices however will be hiding a hidden skill system. Also one of the skills unlocks all routes, while the others unlock only one route. This choice is however useless later in the game(unless I decide otherwise). I am only sorry that I forgot to at least display the skills at the end since right now they don't do anything... As for the romantic relationships, I plan to make it like this depending on the routes and their subroutes, some routes will have several romantic interests: -boy pursues girl -girl pursues boy -girl pursues girl So far in the first chapter I have done this: -the introduction of the settings, main characters(also the choice of which one of them you will play) -the introduction of the homeroom teacher, however his character design is a placeholder.

Game created for first Gamemaker's Toolkit Game Jam. You are drafted into the Zandarian army into the role of commander! You must amass $100k within 10 days or else face termination! Give orders each day to continue the war effort(while making money), but to maximize your effectiveness, you must also talk/fund your department heads! Can you do it in time! Find out in the game "For Zandaria!" The game fits the theme of dual purpose design as each action affects future actions down the line. Deciding which department head to talk to during free time gives you a closer(or farther) relationship with the department head which affects how well they accomplish the tasks you give them in the planning stage. Deciding how much supplies to give your soldiers can make them do better or worse when executing your plan. Lying to the media can give you a reward if you don't get caught, else you face a bigger consequence than just telling the truth.

You regain consciousness disoriented in pitch blackness, with a splitting headache. What's going on? How did you get here? In this perilous subterranean world, what will you learn about yourself - if you live long enough? Geekido Studio's first visual "novel" is really more of a visual short story or visual character sketch. Veteran amateur creative producer Chrooke abuses the visual novel format with parallel storylines that drive the mystery and tension as we learn more than we ever wanted to know about our protagonist. Warning: NSFW; contains adult language; contains but does not promote sexism; implies but does not directly portray, and does not condone or promote, rape, domestic abuse, and bullying.

A doujin game based off of the Fate universe, specifically Fate/Grand Order. This has been in development since last year at r/GrandOrder and it's finally gotten to a point where the prologue can be played through. There's working affection, choices, a CG gallery and nine endings. But don't expect too much, because this is literally just a preview/teaser for the game. It contains the prologue/set up and early art. Some of the sprites (such as Mashu) are outright prototypes stuck in there so she isn't a blank space. Most of the audio and visual assets are likewise there so that it's not simply silent and empty. (which doesn't mean some aren't a little bit fun...) There are a few other working systems in the game, but they have no effect right now, such as the angel and devil system (a prototype term for now) that will determine the MC's personality and as the game progresses lock in choices/open up new ones dependent on previous personality trends. Development is super early, so input, hopes, expectations, and even characterization concerns are all important and solicited. If you're a fellow developer or artist also interested in helping to create the game, that's welcome too. Disclaimer: This is a fangame, and therefore I don't claim ownership of Fate or the characters within the game.
